The Art of Communicating Science

We live in challenging times. We have so much information at our fingertips on the internet, and yet, navigating through all of it requires being able to digest all of the lingo and discerning what’s true. Being a critical thinker. Not falling into rabbit holes along the way.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I thought we could do better communicating health and science to the public in ways that people could understand, and trust. I embarked on a graduate certificate program at the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science. I learned to be a storyteller. I gave a TEDx talk. Here are some of the talks and interviews I am most proud of.

My talk focuses on how we can become more effective communicators of science through cultivating the skills of genuine curiosity, empathy, and building trust.
